Workshop Information

Who is this for?

This is for ambitious moms who

  • Have kids between 0 and end of primary school age

  • Are working full-time/part-time or on a career break (either maternity leave or prolonged break)

  • Experience negative voices (either in your head or other people) that are commenting on their choices. And are done with the impact it has on them

  • Are curious about 'Matresence (the transformational process of becoming a mother) and its different aspects.

  • Crave an hour of time out of their busy schedules to connect back in with herself, and learn something in the meantime.

What we will do

⭐In this one-hour live workshop, we will lift the veil on the topic of mom guilt. We will talk about the societal context, and why we feel the way we feel. You will learn about the 'Perfect Mother Myth' as a starting point to understand where mom guilt comes from and what it 'serves'.

⭐More importantly, we will do some reflection exercises to see how it impacts your life, and how you can start shifting mom guilt.

⭐You will experience that you are not alone in this and that others have similar feelings, maybe even worse than you 😉

  • Session takes place on Zoom and lasts 1 hour

Mom of 3 boys and founder of Matermorphosis. After becoming a mom myself, I was taken aback by the unexpected depth and breath of the transformation to 'mother'. Having always identified as 'an ambitious woman', I suddenly wasn't so sure anymore if that was still true. I dove into books, podcasts and research, and the more I learned about 'Matrescence', the more I started to realize that the work I was doing (in Leadership Development), was actually the same 'work' I was doing in my process of becoming a mother. Matermorphosis is born because I want to live in a world where all woman that became mothers will be supported through her unique experience, so that her innate wisdom to lead herself, her children, her community and the world can evolve, and she can lead from the fullest of her potential
